Hotel Riva - Hvar
Recently refurbishd Hotel Riva is a very stylish design hotel on the beautiful Croatian island of Hvar. Blessed with a picturesque natural harbour, elegant 17th-century piazza and a striking Renaissance cathedra Hvar is a joy and a favourite playground for the Croatian elite.
Rooms are cool and sleek, decorated in grey and muted reds with an open-plan, smoked-glass bathroom.

Hotel Valsabbion, Pula
Valsabbion was one of Croatia's first boutique-style hotels. Decked out in lush primary colours the hotel has lovely views of the Adriatic and the restaurant is renowned as one of the best in Croatia, with the accent on produce from the region - truffles, seafood and locally grown vegetables and herbs.

Pucic Palace, Dubrovnik

Quite possibly Croatia's best boutique hotel. The Pucic Palace is an 18th century's nobleman's home now beautifuly converted into an intimate small luxury hotel. Its one of only two hotels located in the old town of Dubrovnik and has an enviable location on the town's main square. It is full of wooden beam ceilings, green marble and beautiful antiques and artworks on loan from Dubrovnik's museums. A private yacht ia available for day hire.
Arcotel Allegra, Zagreb
Wacky bedspreads and multicoloured lighting are to be found at this arty sexy hotel. There’s also a top-floor hot-tub, a smart restaurant and a trendy cocktail bar. If it’s a special occasion, go for a suite.
